The 5-foot-10, 165-pound senior shortstop/right-handed pitcher led the Senators to a 16-7 record entering the Class LL playoffs against New Milford, scheduled for May 29. Daniello owned a 8-1 record and a 1.22 ERA and 78 strikeouts on the mound along with a .403 batting average with seven home runs and 19 RBI at the plate. He also stole 20 bases. A two-time First Team All-State selection and two-time Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference Player of the Year.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound senior right-handed pitcher and shortstop had led the Wreckers to a 13-8 record at the time of his selection. Casparius owned a .449 batting average with seven home runs and 26 RBI through 21 games, along with posting a 3-2 record, a 2.52 ERA and 57 strikeouts in 33.1 innings on the mound. A two-time All-State honoree, he is also a Rawlings/Perfect Game Third Team All- American and was named to USA TODAY’s American Family Insurance ALL-USA Connecticut First Team.

Winkel produced a .549 batting average with six home runs, 20 RBI and a slugging percentage of 1.098 through 19 games. A two-time All-State honoree and the Southern Connecticut Conference Player of the Year, he is also a Rawlings/Perfect Game Third Team All-American and was selected to USA TODAY’s American Family Insurance ALL-USA Connecticut First Team.
